Surgery Opening Times

Phone lines open from 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

We are closed on bank holidays. See our events and closures page to learn more. Also, see our out-of-hours page to learn about what to do when we are closed.

Extended Hours

These appointments will be available to book in advance with reception and online. Extended hours services are generally very busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. In a genuine emergency, you should call 999.

If you need urgent medical help or advice (including emergency dental problems) between 6:30pm to 8:30am please call 111.

Improved Access

As patients you may have heard in the local news that improved access to Primary Care Services is being reviewed in North Dorset and across the country. 

We are working to improve access to appointments for our patients, in particular at evenings and weekends. On some occasions, we are able to offer Saturday appointments at Shaftesbury War Memorial Hospital. If you would like to be offered one of these appointments, please ask Reception for availability.

We also offer Saturday clinics by appointments at seasonal times of the year to support Flu and Covid vaccinations.
