Dr McKeown qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1991. Helena completed her training in Wiltshire and was senior partner in Salisbury, and a GP there 22 years. Dr McKeown is interested in allergy but continues to enjoy the variety of general practice.
Helena lives in Salisbury with her husband and has four children. Currently most of the working week is spent as chief officer at the British Medical Association.
