Our well-established practice has a committed team and excellent performance against local and national requirements. Gillingham Medical Practice is a two-site GMS practice with seven GP Partners, providing high quality primary healthcare to a geographically extensive rural population of over 13,100 patients.
We have a thriving nursing team, working closely with our GPs, nurse practitioners, HCAs, Pharmacist, social prescribing team and allied health professionals, as well as our fantastic administrative support staff. We are a training practice for registrars and medical students.

Health Champion (Volunteer)
We are looking for volunteers to help improve and extend the services that we offer to patients. Volunteers are needed to help with our Befriending Service, helping patients to access the NHS App and self-care health apps, supporting our ourtreach clinics, health promotion campaigns and local outside events.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our highly respected and friendly practice team.
We are looking for a dynamic and committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work as part of the clinical team to support the delivery of high quality healthcare services to our patients. Experience of independent working in primary care and having a prescribing qualification is essential.
Hours to be negotiated, a minimum of 15hrs per week required.

Social Prescriber
The closing date is 17 June 2025.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Prescriber to join our well established Wellbeing Team within the practice.
The Social Prescriber will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a patient facing (non clinical) role. Providing a service to patients of all ages. Signposting patients to activities, groups and services in their community to meet the practical, social and emotional needs that can affect their health and wellbeing.
They will work with individual patients in the surgery, within the community or patients own home. As well as facilitating community groups when required.
This role is part of the Network Contract Directed Enhanced Service (DES) - Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme for Primary Care Networks.
