Patient Services Administrator

Job Overview:

This is a very demanding role and we do require a flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to cover for additional hours that will arise during particularly busy periods or to allow for holiday cover. You will be working as part of a small team ensuring that the reception runs smoothly. 

Main duties of the job:

  • Advising patients of test results
  • Processing eConsults and eConsult Lite
  • Registering new patients
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing records
  • Answering incoming calls from patients on a daily basis
  • Dealing with requests from patients
  • Issuing prescriptions

This varied role requires the following skills:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft office, to include Word 
  • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Possess some experience within a medical or NHS environment
  • Have the ability to adapt and manage workload dependent on the priority level
  • Possess experience within a customer facing role

Monday 8am-5pm
Tuesday 8.30am-5pm
Wednesday 8.30am-5.30pm
Thursday 1.30pm-7.30pm

Total Working Hours 29 1/2
