Patient Services Administrator

Job Overview:

The first point of contact for our patients and community, this is a fulfilling yet demanding role. We require a flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to cover for additional hours. You will be working as part of a small, close-knit, team ensuring that the reception runs smoothly.

Main duties of the job:

  • Advising patients of test results
  • Processing eConsults and eConsult Lite
  • Registering new patients
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing records
  • Answering incoming calls from patients on a daily basis
  • Dealing with requests from patients
  • Issuing prescriptions

This varied role requires the following skills:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft office, to include Word 
  • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Possess some experience within a medical or NHS environment
  • Have the ability to adapt and manage workload dependent on the priority level
  • Possess experience within a customer facing role

Monday 8am-5pm
Tuesday 8.30am-5pm
Wednesday 8.30am-5.30pm
Thursday 1.30pm-7.30pm

Total Working Hours 29.5
