Dr Conrad D'Costa

Dr D'Costa qualified from Medical School in Pune, India, in 1997. Following a year working in Primary Care, he specialised in General and Paediatric Surgery, gaining a dual Postgraduate Degree at Regional and National level.  

After working for another year in Plastic Surgery in Mumbai, he moved to the UK and worked in General and Colorectal Surgery, including ten years at Yeovil District Hospital. In 2016, his initial love for Primary Care was reignited and he began training in General Practice. He enjoyed his final year of training here at Gillingham and was really happy to join the Practice as a Salaried GP.  

He retains a specialist interest in surgery and is keen to develop a further interest in Dermatology. He would like to maintain links with Secondary Care and the Out of Hours Service, and is also keen to support aspiring Medical Students in local schools.

Dr D'Costa enjoys cooking and travelling. He is married and lives in Sherborne with their Shetland sheepdog, Barclay.
