Test Results
How and when to obtain test results from the surgery
Getting your test results
The most effective way to obtain the results of tests is to view your results online by logging into your patient record via either an online NHS account or the NHS app.
Most results are back within 7 days after the test was taken, but some tests may take 2 weeks.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your online services account
- phone on 01747 824201 or 01747 834330 between 3pm and 6pm.
Our Care Navigators will not be able to answer any clinical questions. Please be aware that the telephone lines can often be very busy.
If you do not have online access and would like support in downloading and accessing your NHS account, please contact our practice Digital Care Co-ordinator on 07376 366549, who would be happy to arrange to visit you at home or meet you in the practice to help with this.
Questions about your results
When you view your results, your GP will put a comment next to your results to aid interpretation.
Get in touch with the surgery if you want to talk to someone about your results.
