Primary qualifications: MA (Oxon) MBBS (London) 2001 MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Fenton went to Merton College, Oxford and then the Royal Free and University College Medical School from where he qualified in 2001. He completed his GP Vocational Training Scheme back in Oxford for three years before moving to London. He then worked at the Heathbridge Practice in Putney for 3 years as a salaried GP and then a Partner for the final 7 years.
Dr Fenton has specialist interests in Cardiovascular and Chest Medicine, Men's Health, Minor Surgery and Joint Injections. He is also Wessex Primary Care Research Network Practice Lead, a Wessex GP Appraiser and teaches final year medical students for Southampton Medical School.
He moved back to South Wiltshire where his wife is from, along with their two young children and whippet, Clover. He enjoys history, early music, cycling and following Oxford United in his spare time.
