Lorna is a HCPC registered Paramedic with over 15 years of experience in urgent, emergency and community healthcare. She currently works as a Frailty Practitioner at Gillingham Medical Practice, supporting older adults living with frailty and complex health needs to maintain their independence and quality of life. She has a particular interest in frailty, palliative and end-of-life care and takes a holistic, person-centred approach to supporting patients and their families.

Prior to joining the practice, Lorna spent 15 years with South Western Ambulance Service, including the last four years as a Lead Paramedic responsible for the day-to-day management of ambulance stations across North Dorset. She continues to support the local community as a Staff Responder, responding from home to patients who become acutely or critically unwell.

Lorna lives locally in Mere with her dog. Outside of work, she enjoys running, spending time with her family and making the most of the Dorset countryside.
